We visited Costa Rica in 1993 and 1994. There are several rich sites for miocene shells in Costa Rica. A good book to identify your results:
The Miocene of Northern Costa Rica, written by A.A.Olsson in 1922, published by the Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. Our own finds are mostly not yet identified properly. We show them anyaway.
